We regret to announce that Mr. Jan Zandbergen, the founder of Jan Zandbergen World-Wide Quality in Meat, passed away in the early hours of 20 January 2015, after a short illness. He was 82 years old.
A very dedicated man, he did his very utmost to develop Jan Zandbergen WWQM and to initiate the growth that has made the company the world player it is today.
Mr. Jan Zandbergen was active in the company until 2006, at which time he passed on the reins to his son Peter-Paul and his grandson Jochem Versloot.
However, he very definitely continued to be involved in the business. We saw him at the office on a regular basis. We are so pleased that we were still able to wish him the very best last Christmas.
His captivating personality and business acumen will continue to inspire us one and all.
