Arena Montaña is Jan Zandbergen’s own brand. Jan Zandbergen only offers quality products. Therefore Arena Montaña ensures quality beef and pork.

Arena Montaña offers beef as chilled steak ready cuts and as frozen portion controlled steaks. For pork Arena Montaña only delivers ribs.

We deal directly with our suppliers. This allows us to follow them and their phases in production meticulously. Through standing relations with renowned slaughter houses Jan Zandbergen delivers high quality beef meeting strict quality checks based on EU standards. Our direct contacts also ensures continuity in deliveries.

Frozen portion controlled beef

For its own brand Arena Montaña, Jan Zandbergen World-Wide Quality in Meat imports chilled and frozen beef from Hereford, Angus and Zebu cattle from South America. The vast plains in Paraguay, Brazil, Uruguay and Argentina allows for tasteful quality meat.

Arena Montaña offers a large variety of frozen portion controlled products. For example T-Bones & Carpaccio, but also steak cuts. These products are developed together with you to allow you to customise the optimum cut and weight of your portion. Ideal for the food service industry.

Our South American beef is available in both various standard cuts and portioned “Steak ready” cuts. The “Steak ready” cuts have properties with a surplus value. This surplus value shows in little to no cut losses, less labour costs and consequently high returns.

Ribs pork

For various pork products you can rely on Jan Zandbergen. The brand Arena Montaña, however, only offers ribs as a pork product.

Arena Montaña spareribs have an EU origin. Only specially selectedribs pass the inspection, whereby attention is paid to quality and consistency. For example, the Arena Montaña ribs are cut straight and also the width between the ribs is looked at.
