Moving Mountains® has expanded its plant-based product range. The latest revolutionary product from Moving Mountains® is their Sausage. These new sausages are available through Jan Zandbergen BV to the food service and retail in Europe.
Moving Mountains develops products that come as close as possible to animal meat in terms of appearance, taste, smell and bite. Having launched the plant-based burger and hotdog earlier this year, the sausage is now ready to go to the market. The fully plant-based sausage contains all-natural ingredients including oyster mushroom and beetroot. Pepper and nutmeg have been added to get the authentic flavour and aroma. The structure of the Moving Mountains® Sausage feels like a traditional Bratwurst and the vegetable skin reflects the perfect “snap” (break of the skin) when broken or bitten into.
The vegan sausages have a high protein level (14 grams of plant-based proteins per 100 gram of sausage), contain added vitamin B12 and are cholesterol-free. The Sausage is available in one size; 57g/2oz.
Visitors to the Anuga last October were able to learn about the Moving Mountains Sausage before this official release. The tasting of the plant-based products from Moving Mountains was hugely popular. Not only the visitors appreciated this new product. Moving Mountains received a certificate of Anuga Top 10 Taste Innovation products for its sausage.
The interest in good quality, tasty vega products is increasing. The plant-based products from Moving Mountains are therefore already available at various wholesalers in Europe. Retail is also interested in these products. The new sausage and the burger from Moving Mountains will be available in various European supermarkets from the first months of 2020.
